Chris is the founder of Reliable Communications and now serves as Chief Executive Officer of RQ2. Chris leads RQ2 with vision,
innovation and momentum.
Chris' leadership style is based on flexibility and a willingness to adapt. As a result, the company is continuously developing
new ideas and improving upon existing ones. This dynamic approach translates to success in the marketplace and has earned Chris
national recognition as a finalist in Ernst & Young's 2003 Entrepreneur Of The Year® award.
After earning a bachelor's degree in Finance from Iowa State University, Chris began his career in the wireless communications
industry as a Senior Account Executive for Nextel Communications. While at Nextel, he recognized an incredible opportunity to
develop a business model that would have tremendous value in the wireless industry. Chris developed what we now know as the Sprint
Buyback Program.
Initially, Chris staffed the young company with family members and friends who today comprise a loyal base of managers and employees.
Chris and his wife Valerie, have five "children": their son, Renner, who was born in 2002, their yellow lab, Gretzky, and cats Fendi,
Winston and Beckham.
